Those familiar with the pet boarding business "Unleashed in the Swan" know what a unique place this is to board a pet. Kathy Koors and her husband Rick treat every dog they care for as if it were their own. But their care goes above and beyond just boarding pets. Kathy has fostered many dogs and at any given time she and Rick have several geriatric dogs they've adopted when no one else will. Kathy says she has a special place in her heart for the "seniors". But as we know, senior dogs require extra care and extra trips to the vet. Sometimes expensive medical procedures are necessary. Recently Kathy found out that Kitty, the sweet tiny old gal who recently found her forever home with Kathy and Rick (pictured here), requires an expensive surgery to treat bladder stones. And that's just one example of the many medical treatments their dogs need.
