Walking Football (WF) is a game that has been designed to keep the aged, injured, and interested connected, healthy, and safe, all while continuing to play the Beautiful Game we love! Walking Football has been a big hit in Europe for over a decade, and now it's rapidly gaining popularity in Australia. The time has finally come for our Aussie teams to shine on the global stage, as the Inaugural FIWFA World Nations Cup is set to take place in Derby, UK, this August 2024. There are nations from all around the world involved. The tournament will feature over-50s and over-60s divisions, with men and women playing together, promoting inclusivity and camaraderie. Our dedicated Australian teams, The Foreveroos, have been training hard for the past 12 months, several players have overcome significant challenges simply to be able to play. This tournament is a golden opportunity to showcase our passion for the game and represent our country in one of the most amazing community activities at the highest level. Unfortunately, unlike other nations, the national body of Football in Australia has yet to extend its support to Walking Football. As a result, all costs associated with participating in the World Nations Cup must be covered by the individual players. This is where your support becomes crucial!
