[English below] La storia di TABASAMU (dallo swahili: "sorriso") nasce nel 2015 a Nkoaranga, villaggio nella regione di Arusha, nel nord della Tanzania. Grazie alla visione del fondatore David Joseph, l’obiettivo è sempre stato quello di accogliere e dare rifugio a bambini orfani o provenienti da situazioni familiari difficili, offrendo loro un futuro migliore. Negli ultimi anni, grazie al sostegno e alle donazioni ricevute, abbiamo fatto enormi progressi. Siamo riusciti a costruire le fondamenta della nuova casa per i bambini e, più recentemente, anche il tetto. Ora ci troviamo nella fase finale dei lavori. Prossimi passi: la posa del pavimento, l'installazione dei serramenti (che sono il prossimo acquisto in programma), l'arredamento e il mobilio, e infine tutte le allacciature per elettricità e acqua. The story of TABASAMU (which in Swahili means ‘smile’) began in 2015 in Nkoaranga, a village in the northern region of Tanzania. Founded by David Joseph, the mission has always been to provide shelter to orphaned and vulnerable children, offering them hope for a better future. Over the past years, thanks to the incredible support and donations, we have made significant progress. We have successfully built the foundation of the new home for the children, and more recently, we have completed the roof. Now, we are in the final phase of the project. The next steps include laying the floor, purchasing and installing windows and doors (our next goal), furnishing the space, and connecting the house to electricity and water systems. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us so far. Every contribution has made a real difference in the lives of the children of Tabasamu.
