Dear friends, family, and acquaintances, Today, we come with heavy hearts, seeking your support and compassion. We are raising funds to help our beloved dog, Luna, who is currently facing a critical health crisis. Luna entered David's life back in 2018, and since then, they have been inseparable. Luna's unconditional love and unwavering loyalty have brought immeasurable joy to his life. In 2024, Luna allowed me to be the third wheel in their relationship.she has welcomed me into their family with a wagging tail and endless kisses. Luna is an integral part of our lives, a true source of comfort and companionship. Recently, in early June 2024, our world was turned upside down when Luna fell ill. Her health has been deteriorating rapidly, leaving us deeply concerned and devastated. We have taken Luna to multiple vet appointments and, more recently, to the emergency hospital for further evaluation and care. The news we received at the hospital was heart-wrenching – Luna's heart is abnormally enlarged and malfunctioning, potentially the reason for the complications with her vital organs. As we write this, Luna's condition remains critical to the point of being hospitalized, and we are anxiously awaiting a follow-up visit on Monday to determine if her enlarged heart is indeed the cause of the lack of blood flow to her spleen, kidneys, and liver. In the meantime, David and I have been taking turns staying home from work to provide Luna with the round-the-clock care she needs. She has become completely dependent on us during this time. The cost of Luna's medical treatments, tests, and ongoing care has put us in tough situation. As we strive to keep Luna comfortable and seek the best possible care for her, we are faced with the daunting reality of mounting medical bills and financial strain. David, Michael & Luna I wanted to give an update. Luna is home while we wait for more tests to come back. It’s a lot more then just the enlarged heart and as of right now the vets are unsure what has caused her health to plummet. We have more vet appointments coming up & hopefully more news.
