On behalf of my former teacher, Mark Chiang, I am organizing this fund to help Mark cover the funeral and celebration of life expenses for his husband, Todd. Your contributions will help Mark focus on healing and finding solace during this difficult time. No matter the size of your contribution, every bit counts and is sincerely appreciated. Todd David Brau, 58, of Bothell, WA died unexpectedly of a coronary artery thrombosis at his home on June 29, 2024 with his husband by his side. Todd is survived by his husband Mark Chiang of Bothell, WA. Todd was born October 1, 1964 in Granite Falls, MN. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1983. He spent most of his career working in retail management at Target, Kowalski's, Costco and most recently at Fred Meyer. In May 2015, he married the love of his life Mark Chiang in Shakopee, MN. This is truly when Todd’s life adventures began. In 2018, they moved to Boise, ID and then settled in Seattle, WA. Todd’s passions included their three beloved fur babies: Duke, Marco and Molly, as well as traveling with Mark. In the past five years, some of their travel highlights included: Cannon Beach, OR; Mt. Rainier, WA; Yosemite, CA; Las Vegas, NV; San Diego, CA; Disneyland, CA; La Push Beach, WA,. Mt. Rushmore, SD and Chicago, IL. These were the best years of his life. Todd had a knack for bringing people together, making them laugh, and helping them to feel accepted and loved. He wore his heart on his sleeve and was the best husband in the world. Todd will be deeply missed by many. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your thoughtful and kind consideration and support.
