hello supporters, I am Aylwyn Sanchez. Im first generation Mexican-American who is going to college out of my whole family. I'm the proud son of two immigrants who came to the United States in search of a better life. Their perseverance and hard work inspired me, and I was able to apply that self discipline to be accepted to the University of Texas at Austin. I’ve had many road blocks throughout my chase towards a better future and education. Ive joined multiple clubs, sports and dual credit courses. Throughout my middle school and high school years I had to travel an hour to get to school in the mornings and afternoon. When I needed to do my homework or any other work for my dual credit courses I had to go to a public library and stay there till they closed so I could finish my work. I was a member of NHS and other clubs. My school was not gonna give me the IBC they promised our class to take in order to be certified. So I spent my senior year pushing the admin to let us take the IBC test. After school was over I went to school on my first day of summer to take the IBC test, I am the only senior in my engineering class that passed it and now I am certified. I wish to continue to push and fight for many more accomplishments. I am just a kid who wishes to make their parents proud and others. I created this so I can have some support throughout my first year of college. I really need any type of support for my tuition, textbooks, housing and any other expenses that will come my way throughout this exciting year. I want to give thanks to my parents for all of their love, I am so grateful to have them because without them I wouldn’t be where I am and the person I am today. I would greatly much appreciate if you could donate and share my story to others, thank you all.
