Hi everyone! My name is Ashley and I’m starting this LFEBridge for my nearest and dearest friend Abigail and her beloved 7-year old kitty Tigger. If you know Abby in any capacity, you are aware as to how much she loves and adores Tigger. If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Tigger then you’ve witnessed firsthand how loving, amazing and silly he is. Recently, Tigger was noticeably lethargic and unable to eat or drink (which is VERY out of character for him). He was taken to the emergency vet clinic and was sadly diagnosed with a hereditary heart disease called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy that has quickly progressed into congestive heart failure. As Tigger is only 7-years old, you can imagine how devastating this is to Abby and all those who love him as their own. Abby unfortunately does not have pet insurance and it is too late to obtain it as majority of affordable plans require “no previous health ailments.” Tigger has always had a clean bill of health and he was healthy as recently as last summer during his annual check-up. As you can imagine, the emergency vet visits, overnight stays in the ICU, and continuous treatments are not cheap. All funds will go to Tigger’s treatment which has already accumulated to $5,700. Tigger should be able to continue to live a happy and pain-free life and he needs our help to do so! Please consider donating and sharing his story far and wide because he absolutely deserves it.
