Hi! Thank you so much for visiting our page - we appreciate you! Kappa Alpha Theta pioneered the start of the women's Little 500, often known as the "trailblazers" for the womens event. Started in 1988, the womens race has always had a strong Theta presence. Over the past 35 races, Theta has brought home first-place trophies eight times, with an average finish of 3rd place. As past and current riders know, being the most decorated womens team in the field does not come easily - it takes talent, perseverance, and hard work, among other characteristics. It also takes financial support as well. Cycling is an expensive sport and being able to compete comes with some financial costs including entry, bike, and gear fees, along with travel costs for our annual winter training trip. None of our success would be possible without our supporters, whether they be financial backers of our program or not; however, we do ask that if you are able and willing, to support our program for this upcoming year and donate to the team. We look forward to getting back on the track this fall and upcoming spring and repping the best program in Women's Little 500 History!
