A Loving Grandfather, Father, Uncle, & Friend Hi, my name is Daland and on behalf of my family and me, it is with great sadness to announce the passing of our father, Vev Veth on Thursday, August 3, 2024. He was 78 years of age. He was a Refugee who fought to find a new life in America, a loving grandfather, father, uncle and a loyal friend to many. He was a strong-minded individual and a fighter who fought through 4 strokes, a heart attack, and open heart surgery. Through the tough times we shared altogether, he always managed to find ways to make us laugh. This man loved to dance and would dance his way through life. The past few months have been the toughest for us, but for me, it was the most intimate. The countless sleepless nights while visiting him were all and all worth it because I was able to reassure him that I would not leave his side as he will never leave ours. He will be deeply missed.
