Help us raise $10K for their life-saving medical care This summer we are suffering a bit from a case of “our hearts are bigger than our funds” and we need your help. Over the past few weeks, we have rescued multiple pups and kitties with major medical issues that require extensive care and surgeries. The truth is, we are short on funds to help pay for medical bills. The large volume of sick and needy animals that we have already taken on this year coupled with the fact that medical care is more expensive than ever means that we need more help than ever. We said yes to these deserving creatures, but now we need to do something that is sometimes harder than saying yes to a pet in need – raising the money to help them. We know that with the help and support of our amazing cheerleaders like you, we can help give this pack the life they deserve. The medical costs for these six alone will exceed $20,000 (and that’s with the rescue discounts we get from our amazing Veterinary partners). Eeyore has a mouth full of rotten teeth that are more painful than we can imagine. Despite it all, he is full of love and wants nothing more than to cuddle and play with every human and pup he meets. Emergency dental approx. $2,000 Violet is suffering from hypoglycemia and a mystery medical issue that makes her unable to stand or act like the beautiful, loving pup she is. ER Care and Diagnostic testing approx. $3,000 Brently is an emaciated senior who came to us with a fractured jaw and a painful mass and despite all the pain he has endured, he is the king of the couch and cuddles at his foster’s house. Mass removal surgery approx. $3,500 Polly is a 6-week-old kitty who has had a horrible start to her life. Due to trauma and neglect, she has lost sight in her eyes and despite her tiny size, she is full of love and will have a bright future just as soon as she has surgery. Bilateral Enucleations: Approx. $3,500 Sheldon is another kitten who has had a rough start. This 12-week-old beauty sadly has early glaucoma which means her eye will need to be removed. Though in pain, she loves to snuggle with humans and will happily purr herself to sleep on any available lap. Approx: $2,000 Coraline is another kitten that came to us with pneumonia. She spent the weekend at the emergency vet on oxygen. Approx: $2,000 Monday Is the last kitty on our medical list. He has two of the worst fractures we have seen in a long time. Despite being found left for dead and in agonizing pain, he’s happy to turn on his purr box in exchange for a few scratches. Orthopedic surgery approx. $12,500 As a rescue that’s funded only by individual donations, we need you more than ever. When you donate, share this fundraiser and their stories, and send words of support, you help them too because… Eeyore will be relieved of the pain that has shut his small body down and be able to eat without any pain. Violet will be able to run and play like a normal puppy. Brently will be able to eat and enjoy the food his emaciated body so desperately needs. Polly will be able to live a life where she is safe and free from the pain that has robbed her of her kittenhood. Sheldon will be able to feel relief from her constant pain and live a long life as a beautiful winky lady. Monday will be able to walk again find a forever home filled with love and protection. These worthy pups and kitties are safe because of the work you help us do every day. We know we are asking for a lot right now, but we promise it’s worth it. And even if you can’t donate, that’s ok, because your shares, comments, and likes do so much to help our messages and fundraisers like this one be seen by more people who have hearts as big as yours. If you can donate, we accept many payment methods outside of GFM, so please reach out to us on IG if you would like to use an alternate method of payment. Thank you again for supporting us. We are forever grateful for all you do for us and all we can do together to rescue so many wonderful pups and kitties. xoxo. Team PupStarz
