For years I spent chasing the regular path of life, the acceptable and commendable measures of spending thousands of dollars on degrees of higher education that gurantee essentially only a lifetime of debt and insecurity. One day, I woke up in my apartment while attending graduate school for Masters degree in Charlotte, NC and realized that I was filled with a sense of unhappiness and a general displeasure for the path my life had taken. After many conversations with friends and family, I was pushed, motivated and encouraged to pursue music as a profession. I had always played music locked away in a bedroom for my own pleasure or appearing at church on Sunday mornings to play, something I will forever treasure. I never imagined pursuing music as something I could make a living in. Two years later, after packing all of my things into my small car and leaving graduate school with nothing by doubt in my mind, I have been so blessed these last two years to play some of the most amazing and historic venues in town, as well honored to play in front of so many people that have the most kind and humbling encouragements after hearing me preform. More and more people are attending shows and we are now traveling all over the place to share the music the boys and I are so passionate about. Through are travels and at almost every gig we are begged for records and merchandise, as well as iTunes downloads and spotify accounts. The boys and I got together and decided: It is finally time! We have been in the studio and writing all the time now and have become so motivated and passionate about getting this material to you all and to places we have never even been. Our single, "Heart" is due to drop at the beginning of November and we could not be more excited; however, there is still much to be done to get the first EP into your hands, which we hope will be by January 2016. Recording time, mixing and mastering as well as CD production and printing is an extensive and expensive process. We are paying for this independently, and to expedite the process of getting the music you have been asking for into your hands, we are asking for $1,400 to be raised to help fund this very first EP! Iam incredibly excited to be working on this record and commit to bringing you the best product we know how with music that can reach all kinds of people in a way that can impact the emotions of individuals, the way music should!
