I am writing to introduce you to Green Light New Orleans, a remarkable non-profit organization dedicated to promoting energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Green Light New Orleans is on a mission to create a greener, more sustainable future for our community. They provide free energy-efficient light bulbs to low-income households, helping families reduce their energy consumption and lower their utility bills. But Green Light New Orleans doesn't stop there. They also install rain barrels to promote water conservation, reducing strain on our water resources and helping to mitigate flooding in our area. Additionally, they offer educational resources and workshops on sustainable living practices, empowering individuals and families to make environmentally conscious choices in their daily lives. Now, here's where we come in. I am going to do a volunteer year abroad in New Orleans to support all projects Green Light has. We rely on the generosity of individuals like you to continue our vital work.
