Hello everyone my name is Lendel Gandeza and I am posting this on behalf of the Kristine Vino (daughter of Rodrigo and Emy Vino). Dear friends and family, The Pontillas/Vino family’s beloved Emerita “Emy” Vino unexpectedly passed 7/2/23 in her home. Emy was the wife of Rodrigo Vino and mother of her only child Kristine Vino. She will be remembered as a loving/caring person, friend, Tita and most importantly mother. Kristine will never forget that no matter how much pain she was in because of her bunions, she would always walk her to school. Emy enjoyed spending time going to out to eat with her husband Rodrigo at either a buffet or their favorite local restaurant “China Stix”. If they were not out enjoying good food together they were spending time with each other their favorite casino Cache Creek. I will never forget the generosity and hospitality she gave me every time Kristine and I would visit her. From her offerings of food or letting me take sleep on the couch because I looked tired. She made sure take care of you when she was around and to not worry about anything. Emy wished to be cremated when she did pass away. Unfortunately her unexpected passing has left Kristine and her family with the overwhelming responsibility and cost of the funeral arrangements. The family understands that times are tough right now but would deeply appreciate any small funds donated towards lighten the costs for Emy’s funeral arrangements.
