My name is Toshiana Woodard and today I make this plea on my family's behalf. Our dearest Alex Woodard, passed away unexpectedly, July 12th while at sea on his honeymoon cruise with his new bride of just 3 months and two of their children. His heart gave out and he could not be revived only 6 days after being diagnosed with congestive heart failure. He was just 29 years young. We are raising money for his widow, Clarice Princess Woodard and the three children he's left behind. Alex was such a good and hardworking man. He brought joy and comfort into the lives of his closest friends and family. He was bright and generous of heart. He laughed easily and was treasured by so many. He's sorely missed already, and will be for many years to come. Alex will be our eighth funeral in a 3 year span of time. The frequency of funeral arrangements has rendered us unable to provide for Clarice and her children. We don't want to but we must. And so we are once again, humbly seeking your help in offering this unexpected widow and now single mother of two, a pittance of reprieve. As Clarice now faces the responsibility of being sole provider to two young children and now must also be breadwinner for her household, we ask that you please find it in your heart to help us do right by Clarice and her young children. Help us to ease one of many burdens now weighing heavily on her shoulders. This money will be used to pay for Alex's arrangements, memorial service, as well as the general living expenses of this broken hearted family, including mortgage and utilities. It's my hope to alleviate as much as possible, the stress this sudden financial burden has brought upon us. As always, the Woodard family is ever grateful for any and all help you can comfortably provide. We ask that you give whatever you can, no matter how big or small, every penny matters. You are in our prayers, please keep us in yours. Thank you and God Bless.
