We are a dedicated karate team of passionate individuals who have earned the privilege of representing our community of New York as well as the United States of America at the prestigious Junior Pan-American Karate (PKF) Championships of 2024! As excited as the families of these hard-working competitors are about this opportunity, the cost of sending the three participants along with the mandated chaperones to Santiago, Chile from August 20th-27th is an exceedingly expensive endeavor. We are in need of your generosity and financial assistance to ensure that all our team members can participate in this once-in-a-lifetime event. Ndour and his dedicated partner Sensei Aurelie Roy. Their team is composed of devoted young athletes, ranging in age from 5 to 20+, all of whom have been training tirelessly for years to reach the pinnacle of their athletic careers. Each team member has demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the sport of Shotokan Karate. This devotion by the athletes, their parents, and their trainers has resulted in three of our own winning the irrefutable honor of competing internationally for the USA Junior Pan-American Karate (PKF) Championships team. We have proven ourselves at regional, national, and international level competitions since 2015, and now, we have the incredible opportunity to compete on a platform where we can showcase our talents on a global scale. The Junior Pan-American Karate (PKF) Championships: The Junior PKF Championship is a prestigious event that brings together young athletes from around the entire American continent, providing them with an invaluable opportunity to compete at one of the highest levels and gain international exposure. This event is not only a celebration of athleticism but also an opportunity for personal growth, building character, and forming lifelong friendships. By participating in the Junior PKF our team members who place at this event will collect points towards the World Karate Federation (WKF) international ranking, which in turn is the basis for qualification towards the 2026 Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal. These opportunities will serve as invaluable experience while also helping our athletes develop skills that will benefit them both on and off the mat.
