Hi. My name is Paul, and I'm raising money for a splenectomy and tests for my dog, Short Round. He has nodes on his spleen which may be malignant, and this surgery will help us decide our next steps. UPDATE: Short Round had the surgery but is having life-threatening complications that require him to be in an oxygen tank for at least a few days. I need additional funds for immediate hospitalization. I am so sorry to ask this when people have been so generous. Short Round is my family and my best friend. I found him as a stray on New Year's Day, 2018 and took him in after I was unable to find his owner. He had no collar and no chip, had clearly never walked on a leash before and did not like to be touched. But now he is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. Four years ago Shorty went blind from a disease called SARDS, and he has had some other medical challenges along the way, but he's been an absolute trooper throughout it all. I appreciate any help you can give to my wonderful little buddy.
