I have had many friends and family ask how they can help and support me when I start my 2200 mile Appalachian Trail Thru-hike starting in March of 2024. Some will be meeting up with me along the trail as I make my way north to help me out. However, you can support/sponser me another way, by providing some virtual "Trail Magic" for when I am on the trail. Maybe its $20 to pay for a meal and beers when i am in town to resupply, or maybe its $100 to pay for a hotel room for a night when its been raining for a week, or simply $10 to get a ride into town. I want to make it clear that i am not looking for money to help pay my bills back home when i am on the trail for 6 months. That i have taken care of, and taken care of many expenses for when I am on trail. So if you would like to be a Trail Angel, and help support me on my Thru-hike, this is a good way. If you are going to provide some trail magic, please let me know who is doing so and what you would like to see the trail magic go for. (example - $20 from Mike...to get a pizza and beer when you are in town) By doing this, I am hoping to give you a shoutout and post a picture/video on social media showing you that your trail magic was indeed used for what it was intended for. If for some reason my hike is cut short for any reason, and I don’t take advantage of your trail magic, your money will be returned. Thank you all..and see you on the Trail!!
