It is with a heavy heart that we share on behalf of the Diebel and Clark families, the devastating news of the passing of much-loved friend and community member, Jim Diebel, to suicide. We share the blunt reality of the situation to avoid assumptions or misunderstandings so that we can turn our attention to the mental and emotional welfare of Jim’s close friends and family, specifically for Sarah, Griffin and Mason, as they struggle to process this news. They will be staying with family as they prepare to handle the legalities that follow an unexpected event like this. The scope of expenses they will incur will be massive, and many people will want to know how to bring meaning and to engage in grieving. We have created a LFEBridge page to rally our community to help provide any financial relief we can while they turn their attention to each other. There is no perfect way to support in this situation, only to be willing when able. Give what you can and send thoughts of love and healing as they work through this unexpected grief. Service details will be forthcoming, please direct questions to myself or Kim Bailey. The world was better with Jim in it, and the world is better with YOU in it. When all hope feels lost, please try to remember to Hang On Pain Ends. If you, or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, please call or text 988.
