Nola is a 6-year-old doggo who is full of energy and life. She is the biggest lover and a fearful (yes, fearful) protector. Her best friend is Annie, and her flirt around town is Prince. She's a squirmy wormy who loves to cuddle and play fetch with her mama. In July of 2024, she became fully paralyzed in her hind legs due to IVDD. This is a disease common in dogs shaped like her that causes extreme back pain and paralysis due to pressure on the spinal discs. We leaned on medication and alternate methods of treatment and were able to heal her almost completely! It was truly a miracle. Unfortunately, since then, this has become a recurring issue that affects Nola for months at a time. In order to come up with a long-term solution, we need an MRI. The doctor is anticipating surgery but cannot confirm without the MRI results. Nola could have 10+ years of life left if I can provide her comfort and relief through these avenues. Thank you for considering a donation. I am beyond grateful for any contribution. You can read more about IVDD here - https://www.petmd.com/dog/conditions/neurological/c_dg_intervertebral_disc_disease
