Hello! We are fountain arts CIC, a creative arts project to increase creative opportunities in North Lincolnshire to improve health & well-being. In August 2024 we opened a disused shop in Scunthorpe town centre as an arts project and since then we have been supporting local creatives to realise projects and exhibitions, create work in studio spaces and deliver workshops to share their skills and knowledge so everyone can get creative. We have received an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences and community members, so we want to continue to offer our services. Our target is £3,000 Put simply: WE CANNOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOU. Where’s the money going? 70% - Paying our electricity bill (the big one!) 20% - Subsidizing our Artist Studios 10% - Replenishing our materials for FREE workshops What can you do? Firstly, we are delighted that you are interested in supporting and reading our story. Any donations we receive will get us closer to achieving our aims - be it 50p or £50. Alternatively, you can support us by coming to our events and exhibitions! For anyone who is able to gift a little more, we have some exciting news to share! Sponsor - Donations of £250+ will get as above PLUS 3 free bookings of our daily studio/meeting space or lighting studio to work with friends or colleagues. What are our projects and exhibitions? We invite applications from Artists and Creatives through our open call process, where a community panel select the projects and exhibitions they think will resonate with the people here in North Lincolnshire. So far our projects have embraced arts & heritage, creating exciting opportunities for everyone to experience and participate. They have included: painting, drawing, sculpture, animation, photography, illustration and film.
