Charlene Crandall was more than just a friend to many- she helped those closest to her (and even strangers in some cases) through the many ups and downs in their lives. She was a mentor, editor, producer, businesswoman, friend, mom, acquaintance and well-respected writer of Florida history. As many of you know, after years of battling medical issues and beating all of the odds, Charlene has left this physical world to be with her mom and dad once again after battling sepsis in the hospital for about a week. After speaking to her many friends, we all have the same feeling of disbelief as she was a part of our daily lives for many years. Each of her friends are connected as a family which is best described as many pieces of a puzzle that were created by Charlene to bring us all together. Charlene had a talent for bringing everyone together, no matter how different each of us are. She was a shining star that this world will miss and she has left this world a better place by bringing positivity and hope to everyone she met. I have decided to create this LFEBridge as a way to put together a celebration of life that is worthy of an individual that is as incredible as Charlene was. Something that can help bring her closest people together to celebrate the incredible person she was and all she contributed to each of our lives. The funds will help secure a location for the event to take place, a live-stream setup for people that wish to attend virtually, food and drinks, possible live music and decor. Any remaining will go towards a beautiful physical memorial of some type for Charlene (to be decided at a later date).
