Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends, Your support can help towards new IT equipment and a gorgeous outdoor learning space. A few of us from Year 1 have organised a 7.2-mile/11.58 km circular trail through Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Ringstead Bay in Dorset. We’ll be setting off in May 2024 and hope you can support us to make this happen. We have all witnessed how dedicated and passionate the teachers are towards our children — mathematics taught outside on a summer day, engaging in play during break time, building confidence through learning and lifting our little ones when they are sad — enhancing the school gives more opportunity for these lovely moments to happen. We’ll raise money towards new iPads and Chromebooks to further develop our little ones’ skills and assist their learning in class. As well as raising towards the planned revamp of the playground, including a dedicated outdoor learning area- fostering positive mental development and well-being. For most of us, this is the first time we have ever hiked a trail, and we look forward to leaving the kids behind (joking- not joking), getting fit, bonding, and, of course, receiving our fix of serotonin and dopamine through nature (followed by a glass or two). We hope you can help us by donating and spreading the word to all your family and friends. All money raised will be given to the school, and we will personally cover the entire trip. Thank you, Tanya, Lizi, Anna-Lou, Miriam and Angelique
