Hello everyone! My mom, Aisha Nakato, and I, Christine Leila Artica, are embarking on a heartfelt mission to raise funds for our cousin's class at a primary school in our hometown of Masaka, Uganda. In all, she has 144 students in one class. Last month, they had their mid-term exams, but out of the 144 students, only 62 were able to sit the exam because the 82 weren’t able to pay the fees. These students have been prevented from pursuing their education due to the inability to afford essential school fees, class materials, and examination costs. Education is essential to the amelioration of society and self and should be accessible to all regardless of financial constraints. The fees, including uniforms, comes to around UGShs.150,000 ($30) per child for the whole year. We have created this fundraiser dedicated to transforming the lives of these deserving students. With your generous donations, we aim to cover the cost of school, exam and uniform fees for underprivileged students, ensuring that they have access to essential resources and a nurturing learning environment. You can sponsor a child or multiple. Just $30 can pay for a child’s education for the whole year. Any amount that you donate is greatly appreciated. We’ve set the goal to $5000. After paying for the children’s tuition, the remaining funds will be used to improve the school’s facilities.
