Hi my name is Bethany Jones I am thrilled to share with you the incredible journey of my son Shawn Jones in track and field. Over the few years, he has pushed himself to the limit, competing in challenging events such as the 800 meters, 4x400 meters relay, 100 meters, and 4x800 meters relay. Shawn broke a 19 year old school record in the 800, running a 1:54.68!! Each race has demanded tremendous discipline, countless hours of training, and unwavering commitment. His unwavering dedication and tireless efforts have propelled him and his team to the prestigious National Junior Olympics in Eugene, Oregon. I cannot express how proud I am of him and his teams accomplishments. So I am reaching out on behalf of the talented athletes from the Spokane Speed Academy Track and Field Team, who are aspiring to compete in the upcoming Junior Olympics in Eugene, Oregon. The Spokane Speed Academy has long been a beacon of athletic excellence, nurturing young athletes and providing them with the necessary skills to excel in their chosen sports. These dedicated individuals have shown tremendous commitment, determination, and a relentless passion for track and field. Participating in the Junior Olympics is an incredible opportunity for our athletes to showcase their abilities on a NATIONAL stage and gain invaluable experience, not to mention the potential to catch the attention of college recruiters and open doors for their future athletic endeavors.
