Hi!!! My name is jojo a certified pet groomer since 2007!!! I’m the owner of Jojo’s Grooms & More. I have been running and operating via mobile since 2018 and employed since 2008. I am Also a vet tech and animal behaviorist. The reason I am putting this together is because I have had a series of unfortunate events with my first mobile grooming truck purchased in 2019 (ford E250 purchased with over 500,000 miles) over the last 3 years and as much as I hate asking for help I have to however I have a plan to give back to the community if I reach my goal!!!! (Motor / transmission issues 2024) (Ac blown out 2024) (Alternator goes out every 4-8 months) These images above have been a constant one for me and my clients. Every time I get ahead, I’m set back a lot further. My clients love me and the work I provide however I can’t stay consistent as every couple of months I’m spending more than what is made in the business just to keep it floating. I take many nervous, scared, disabled, medically needy and AGGRESSIVE pets that many other groomers turn away. My experience is vast. Being a vet tech since 18 years old and working in ERs for animal hospitals has taught me so much more than your average groomer as far as comfort, safety and care if your pet experienced medical issues with me. Being an animal behaviorist allows me to read your pet and tell how comfortable they are or are not… I take pride in my work and many pet parents that are turned away would truly be lost without me. Im asking for help because from the moment I bought the truck it’s been a nightmare to keep afloat. We have great moments then fail, just to get back up and fall again. I employ 2 families and when I suffer they do as well. We are all trying to stay afloat and are asking for help. HERE IS THE PROPOSAL….. To help us stay afloat (myself and both families employed) we are asking for the amount listed for a few reasons: 1. deposit or payment for a new truck 2. possibly custom building a truck not yet built 3. deposit for truck / trailer with custom build Once we have the vehicle in motion we plan on signing up different rescue groups and senior centers where we can park and groom pets in need for FREE. Yes FREE OF CHARGE to rescue groups and seniors in senior centers. if anyone has suggestions or ideas on what else would benefit the community WE ARE VERY OPEN TO THIS Here are pics of a pinch of senior, medically needy or special babies I service already. ♥️ enjoy
