HI, My name is William and Sir Bruce is my rescued best friend and partner in life. Bruce has been with me for 6 years and 2 days ago he lost the use of his back legs and was not able to walk or stand. The emergency surgery at the neuro specialist was very pricey. The alternative was to put him down, but i couldn't do that because it would also end me. I am a combat veteran, 4X deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. I am single and my 2 dogs are my entire life and companions. I could not even think of losing Bruce of my own decision. I went into debt to pay for his operation and thankfully, it went well and I will be bringing him home in a day or two. The hospital that took care of Bruce is the Southeast Veterinary Neurology at 9300 SW 40 St . Miami, Fl 33165| [phone redacted] |sevneurology.com| The total bill will be about $19,000 and Sir Bruce has a 90% chance of full recovery of his legs. To me those are really good odds and no question , easy decision to make. Please help me with any amount you can spare to help me pay off this debt that saved the life of my buddy. I don't have kids or a wife, my dog is my life. Many Veterans can relate to unconditional love from a canine companion. We had many such companions when we are boots on the ground that we had to leave behind and lost many due to IED's and warfare. I was not going to lose mine. Your help and donations will let me take care of Bruce and pay off this debt. I will be asking the hospital if they have a way to also accept payments on behalf of Bruce and if they do, I will update this page. Any help you can give will be very gratefully accepted.
