July 27, 2024 With tears & many sweet memories we remembered Sharon today at her beautiful service. Generous donations removed the financial burden from her family, and for that Karen, Jan & I are so grateful to everyone who gave. We have a bit of money left & with Kristen’s blessing we are changing the purpose of the GFM to become the Peanut Fund, to cover future veterinary bills for her care. Peanut will live with Sharon’s best friend & co-grandmother, Sherl. We’ll keep this active for about 10 days before turning it off ❤️ July 21, 2024 We’ve change our financial goal & mission to help Sharon’s family cover her memorial & any incidental expenses related to that. Karen, Jan & I are humbly asking her friends to consider a donation to help. July 20, 2024 Heaven got a good one. Sharon passed earlier today. We are heartbroken & grieve with her family. UPDATE: Karen, Jan & I are heartbroken to share Kristen’s post: “Wanted to thank everyone who has call and checked on my mom..for those who don't know she had a accident where is was burned she's been in Charleston for about to weeks she was doing fine for the first week but she caught an infection and with all that mommie has going on her body can't fight it .,she is being sent to hospice today the doctors say only thing they can do now but keep her comfortable....this is a very difficult of me and Kia but I ask to keep us in your prayers. .We all know my mom is a strong woman and she's fighting. Please keep us in ur prayers and thanks for being there for us in these hard times...” ORIGINAL POST: Hi! My name is Sharon Webb & along w/ Karen Johnson and Jan Kirven we’re fundraising for our friend Sharon Brown. She survived a house fire on June 22 and is undergoing painful burn treatment at MUSC in Charleston SC. If you’re lucky to know her you know she loves animals, her friends, her family especially her grandchildren and her beloved Peanut who safely escaped w/ her. She has donated countless hours of her personal time selflessly for the past 9 years directly and behind the scenes at the three Missing Pets pages. She has cried for the losses and the triumphs of the found and put her heart and soul into the group for complete strangers for the betterment of our community. We don’t know how long her hospitalization will be or where she’ll live when released. We’d like to take one worry off her plate & humbly ask for donations to get her settled afterwards & for prayer that she’s comfortable while under care. Ever hopeful for a miracle we are afraid this LFEBridge will be changed to cover final expenses (Sharon doesn’t have life insurance).
