My name is Barbara and I have been given the honor of setting up this account to help Shanda’s family. Shanda touched so many hearts whether it was working at Proctor and Gamble or fulfilling her passion as a nurse in the prison system or most recently in Wickenburg at an eating disorder facility. To know Shanda was to love her! She was the kind of friend that no matter what was going on, she was there for you. I will be selfish for a moment and tell you that she was always there for me especially when it came to electronics (working my cell phone) or just being there when I struggled being a mom. Shanda loved everyone and loved hard. She always talked about how proud she was of her girls and loved, loved, loved spending time with her grandkids. I would be remiss to forget to tell you all about how much she loved to travel and was always up for an adventure. She was passionate about fixing up her huge panel van so that she could hit the road and live comfortably for as long as necessary once she put the key in and took off. There are no words to describe the sadness that her family and friends feel from this loss, this girl was “one of a kind” and we miss her terribly. Many are asking how they can help out and this is a way that anyone that wants to can contribute. We will all miss Shanda Panda like crazy and the family asks that you keep them in your prayers as Shanda’s mother is still in ICU healing from her injuries.
