Hello everyone, I'm Seth Bagasani. I'm a junior at Oregon State University, where I am majoring in Public Health. I am passionate about non-profit work and will be participating in a 3-month unpaid internship in Japan starting in the last week of August 2024. I will be an intern for the Tokyo English Lifeline, which is a non-profit organization that provides mental health services for international communities in Japan. This is especially important to me as a public health major, as Japan has high rates of mental illness and suicide rates. I am excited about this opportunity to give back to a community in need, but as it is an unpaid internship experience, there are still some financial constraints that will make the experience more challenging. I'm currently working in events and guest services, as well as in construction to prepare financially for this experience. Even so, any amount of financial contribution would be greatly appreciated. Your funds will help me to pay for my lodging, transportation, food and grocery, and any other potential expenses. Thank you for taking the time to read about my plans for this upcoming Fall, and for any generosity extended to me. Kind regards, Seth Bagasani
