My name is Melanie Gudgel, I am the sister of Sean “Moonshine” Gudgel who passed away unexpectedly, in his home, sometime between 7/3/23 and 7/4/23. After a welfare check had been requested, Sean’s body was found inside his home with his fur baby Ginger by his side. Most that know Sean are familiar of his love for karaoke, motorcycles, God and his family. Throughout Sean’s life he has sacrificed himself in order to give everything he had of himself to help others. As children, we learned of our, brother Mark’s need for a bone marrow donor after diagnosed with CML. Sean was a match and there was no way anyone could have stopped him from wanting to save his little brother. Sean, was in fact a bone marrow donor and was able to watch his brother thrive in remission for 10 years until Mark ended up passing away at the age of 19. There are plenty more stories of we could share of the selflessness we’ve seen from Sean. Because of this, and knowing that his passing was a sight we chose to not see, my wish is that we can give Sean the goodbye that he deserves. This was not the way we thought we would need to plan for services for any of our loved ones, that we are saying goodbyes to. As an expense that I am unable to cover completely on my own at this time I am reaching out to friends and family of mine as well as friends and family of Sean’s and even friends of all of those friends and family to please give what you can if you were able to and just know that any little bit that you are able to give is greatly appreciated and it definitely helps . The expenses this will be helping to cover are : picking up decedent and transferring to funeral parlor, tax on cremation box, release of the remains, etc.
