Our daughter Tanya started her cricket career in 2018 when she was 10 years old. Since then, she has invested lots of effort and energy to arrive at the current position she is in. Her aim since her younger days was, to one day play for the Australian Cricket team. Her keenness was not limited only to playing outdoor cricket but also to playing indoor cricket. Hence, she participated in the Victorian under 16 indoor trials in 2024. She was then selected to represent Victoria Indoor Cricket National Championship which was held in Brisbane (Ipswich) from 25th June 2024 to 1st July 2024. During this tournament, she was presented with the player of the match for 2 games. On the 1st of July 2024 at the presentation night, she was selected to represent Australia in the upcoming Junior World Series (Under-16 Girls) to be held in Dubai from 30 September through to 7 October 2024. Indoor Cricket is an amateur sport that is self-funded and to attend the National Championships in Ipswich, we spent over $3,400. Tanya is honoured and privileged to represent Australia but that privilege comes with the funding requirement of around $5,300, over and above the daily training expenses. We truly appreciate any support you could kindly render to raise this fund to assist our daughter to realise her dream of representing Australia at the Junior World Series 2024 in Dubai. Tanya was ranked 2nd nationally in the recent U16 Junior Indoor Cricket National Championship held in Brisbane (Ipswich) and was also selected for outdoor cricket Under 16 Emerging Player Program 2024-24 organised by Cricket Victoria Appreciate your support to send Tanya to Dubai to represent Australia. Thanking you Nush and Arul
