SEARCHING FOR DAISIES explores a heart-warming, emotional story as two children from vastly different upbringings collide on a journey to discover the meaning of home. My name is Lily Boisvert and I am in my final year of a Bachelor of Film and Television. I have always been inspired to create stories about the world through the eyes of children. I have come to realise that this stems from my family life in which I am the eldest grandchild of 15 cousins. The characters of Daisy and Levi are derived from the character traits and personalities of my youngest cousins. This is our team! This film spotlights the neglected nature of the foster system in Australia and touches on the impact of domestic violence on children who witness it. It is a story about growing up, leaving home, and finding yourself... all through the eyes of a 9-year-old girl. Any donations no matter how small are greatly appreciated!
