Hello, my name is Annie and I’m fundraising for my grandson’s preschool. My grandson’s cherished childcare, a haven for countless children in our community in Sunrise, Florida is facing imminent closure. But we refuse to let this happen without a fight and are reaching out for help. This childcare has been a beacon of love, learning, support, and laughter for several years, providing a nurturing environment for children of all races, nationalities, religious affiliations, or educational needs. Ms. Peggy is not one to shy away from any challenges students may bring: emotional, mental, psychological, or even educational. She truly has a nurturing environment for all students in her care. Her home-based preschool has become a second home for both the children and their parents, fostering a tight-knit community that has supported one another through life journeys of joys and challenges. Unfortunately, due to COVID and the government's unforeseen fund depleted, my community is on the brink of losing this invaluable resource. The rising costs of rent, utilities, supplies, and qualified staff have become overwhelming, leaving them unable to continue operating without immediate intervention. We believe every child deserves access to quality care and education, and that is why we are turning to you, our compassionate community, for help.
