Hi, my name is Lawton and I'm fundraising for my cat Sapphira's medical bills. After a stressful month of moving, Sapphira's health suddenly declined and she was admitted to the vet. She was then diagnosed with diabetes and pancreatitis and spent a combined 2 weeks recovering in the animal emergency clinic, racking up ~$7k in medical bills. I adopted Sapphira as a senior cat while I was a broke college student so I didn't have pet insurance, therefore all of these expenses have come out of pocket. Thankfully, Sapphira is back home and as loving as ever. While having her back home and healthy has been worth every penny, this ordeal has maxed out my credit card and nearly wiped out my savings.
