My name is Sanja and I’m excited to attend Morgan State University (an HBCU) in Baltimore as a freshman this fall. I will pursue a degree in Psychology with the aim of eventually becoming a therapist working primarily with teenagers in underserved communities. I’m looking forward to attending classes as a college student, making new friends and settling into campus life. I’ve been assigned to live in the Thurgood Marshall Hall dormitory. While my family and I have worked hard to cover the cost of tuition, I am asking for assistance to help pay for on-campus housing. Given the University's distance from my home, this will allow me to get to and from classes easier and give my full attention to the coursework while becoming immersed in the full HBCU experience.
