IN HONOR of SAM DARE **Disclaimer: Please be aware of the Tip section in LFEBridge. You can set it to $0 to not give a tip** For those of you that do not know the story, this LFEBridge is to help the DARE FAMILY in their time of unexpected loss and tragedy. Their three teenage children and two other teenage relatives were in a horrible car accident, and their beloved 17-year-old son Sam Dare did not survive. The other four children were transported and airlifted to trauma centers in two separate states. The Dare's other children, Henry and Margaret, sustained significant injuries and have long roads ahead to healing both physically and emotionally. Please know that these are all good kids and were not up to any teenage mischief. They were simply one of several cars returning from a large family vacation at the beach one morning when the tragedy occurred on a dangerous stretch of road. We know that many out there want to help them heal in any way possible. While we may not be able to help them heal directly, we can lend a hand by easing some of the financial burden that comes with a tragic accident and ensuing hospitalizations, physical rehabilitation, hotels, and every other thing that health insurance alone will not cover. Jen and all three of her children have been heavily involved in a number of charitable and volunteering organizations for years, and any surplus funds will be used for charitable donations in Sam’s name. As his mother, Jen said, “Sam would have definitely wanted that.” The Dare family members have all been involved in the community, given their time, their support, and their effort. I guess this is the reason that SO many people want to help them in their time of need. This Go Fund Me page is to do exactly that. Every small or large donation will help. Please add your messages to them as well so they can feel the love and warmth of their community. Thank you all for being such a wonderful and supportive group of people! ** Disclaimer #2: A Note from Go Fund Me: Go Fund Me is a platform to raise funds for others in need so there are operating expenses. For those that are worried about them taking a large percentage, this is from their website. They appear to operate in the same fashion as buying a ticket for a venue. Here is what they say: "There's no fee to start or manage your fundraiser. However, to help us operate safely and securely, one small transaction fee (2.9% + $0.30, which includes debit and credit charges) per donation is deducted. For more information about fees in your country, check out our pricing page."
