Meet our resilient furry friend, Ryder (aka Napoleon), a special needs dog with the most loving heart! Ryder is currently in dire need of both medical assistance and ultimately a forever home. Ryder and his siblings were rescued from a meth house and brought to Pintler Pets in Anaconda, MT. While the level of meth exposure is unknown, it is likely the litter either ingested or inhaled the meth substance. Two of Ryder's sisters showed no symptoms and have been adopted and are living their best lives. Three of the litter had severe symptoms and the vet recommended euthanasia. And then there is Ryder, who continues to show an incredible will to live. While he has been getting veterinary care including massage, chiropractic adjustments, and acupuncture, Ryder needs to be further diagnosed by a specialist and an MRI to determine neurological dysfunction which is currently outside of the shelter's means. Ryder's medical condition requires immediate attention, and we're reaching out to our amazing community for support. Ryder is the embodiment of determination, and his bright spirit shines through despite his challenges. Some days he is more mobile than others. On his bad days, he scoots around on his tummy. The ultimate goal is to find Ryder a home willing to provide the care and love that he deserves but in the meantime, we need to get him the medical attention he needs so please help us spread the word about this incredible special needs pup.
