The ONLY thing that could get me to run a half-marathon is a bunch of cute pups. Seriously, I hate running. But I'll be running 13.1 miles on September 24th along Chicago's lakefront to raise money for my uncle's dog rescue charity! Wagon Tailz is a non-profit rescue located on a 50-acre farm in Chester County, PA. Mike and Barb take in pups faced with euthanasia and having a hard time finding a family. Right now they have 12 dogs awaiting homes. Some rescue donkeys, goats, and chickens (plus 2 beehives!) all help keep the dogs company. To keep me partly accountable during training, I'll be posting pics of me and some pups around Chicago over the next few weeks! They could certainly run Chicago's lakefront - we'll just have to find out if I can too. Please donate if you can!!
