Hi, my name is Lori Maupas, and my daughter and I found this beautiful stray pup stumbling his way down my street this afternoon, clearly starving and delirious and barely standing. I ran out to get him, afraid he'd be run over by a car. He was severely underweight and losing his hair. We fed him and gave him water, which he gulped up right away. I took him to my vet and they informed me that Jake was microchipped but the owner died in 2018. They suspect Jake has been living on the streets. He has a severe ear infection and gum disease, as well as some other ailments. He is old, and may only live another year or two, but I'd love to make those years happy ones for him. I have two other rescue dogs, and Jake's vet bills will be very high, so I'm asking for any donations to help me pay for the vet bills. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
