UPDATED DOWN THERE ! Hi. My name is Mable. I’m a miniature Dachshund. I found my forever home just a few days ago and I’ve been having so much fun. I went to Equifest horse show with my mum to watch the horses doing their thing. One morning we got up and I was playing when 2 French Bulldogs came over and attacked me. I now have 4 fractures in my jaw and cheek bones and puncture wounds across my head. The vet man told mummy it’s going to cost a lot of money and she doesn’t have much. The bulldogs mum won’t help it seems even though they did it. I was just lying down on my back playing when the bullies turned up. Can you help please, even just a little bit. Anything that comes above the costs mummy says she’ll help another and give it away. I'm only 12 weeks old and would love to have more fun xxx Ok ! So I’m still here ! But they’ve put all stuff round my face so I can’t woof and my bones mend ! And there’s a snake in my mouth which keeps spitting food in my tummy so I don’t get hungry. Mummy says I’m smelly but I’ve got medicine because the holes in my head are pussy. (Cats get everywhere!). Mummy says everyone is trying to help so thankyou very much. I’m trying to stay strong so I can give you all licks n kisses when I’m allowed to come home. Lots of love Mabel xxxx Hi every-lovely-bodies ! 2weeks ! Yes 2 weeks !!! and I’m still stuck in this hospital. Mummy says she nearly lost me more than once since I’ve been here. I don’t understand, I’ve been stuck in this cage or been cuddling nurses. so what they’ve done is stolen my front teeth at the bottom and my big pointy growly teeth too ! They say that’s why I’m getting better because it was all broken and getting infected. The great news is that I can eat now and boy have I missed doing that ! I’m getting porky too, put on weight. it looks like I might be allowed home at the weekend if I behave. The embarrassing bit is I’ve been living here with the cats, something about not having had all my jabs yet and the other dogs might give me something. I doubt that’s true really, most dogs I’ve met want to take my food AND my toys ! Thankyou for believing in me. Love all you kind peeps. Mabel xx
