Hi, my name is Bri and I am helping to raise funds to care for Sprinkles. Sprinkles (as we named her) was dumped in Flushing Michigan on Sunday July 23 about 10 PM. At some point she got attacked or caught up in something bad and she had a terrible infection in her neck from it as you can see in the picture. On Wednesday July 26 myself and 3 other people worked through the heat, humidity, rain and storms to track her. After 5 hours of doing so we figured out her pattern and strategically set a live trap. At 5:30 AM Thursday we found her in the trap and Genesee County Animal Control was notified and came to get her. Sprinkles is in very bad shape but is being treated by Animal Control. We also got the devastating blow that she is heart worm positive. Her recovery will be long, hard and costly. After working so hard to rescue her from the streets I want to see her all the way through this journey and help any way I can. I am asking for donations that will be turned over to Shelter Animal Donations to help pay her vet bills. GCAC is completely full but took her in and started care immediately. I just want to help them with the efforts!
