I was blessed to meet Lauren early in our careers at Oakley HQ - just two carefree gals running around that massive campus to execute and capture events for 2,500+ employees. Our friendship quickly grew beyond work because she’s that awesome. We’ve watched each other get married, grow our families, and despite both of us moving around Southern California, our families have remained close friends. To know Ramon and Lauren is to love them. I have the privilege of knowing them up close and they are beautiful stewards of their financials, they put family time above climbing corporate careers, and they financially plan and stick to their budget. But from what you will read in Ramon’s story [in updates], the IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP was an unbelievable surprise! When Lauren told us Ramon qualified for the World Championship in Nice, France, all I said was, “How do we make this happen? You have to go too, Ramon can’t do this without you there”. Friends, family and colleagues have been so eager to support them. While loved ones are stepping up in a variety of ways, I asked Lauren and Ramon if I could set up a LFEBridge where people could financially contribute to this unexpected adventure. So here we are! Here is how your greatly appreciated donations will be allocated for their very short trip to Nice, France where Ramon will compete in the IRONMAN World Championships with Lauren at his side: $1500 registration $800 bike shipping $3000 airfare & transportation $2500 lodging $200 Lauren’s croissant fund Merci et au revoir, Courtney Olson
