Winnebagoland BMX Club, Inc. of Oshkosh is planning to “Raise the Roof”. To support the efforts, we are seeking donations to raise $40,000 in funding for a canopy to be built over the start line of our race track. A canopy would provide shade for participants as they wait to race and are covered head to toe in protective gear, from helmets and armor to gloves and thick pants. Winnebagoland BMX is a non-profit organization that holds races every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the warmer months, weather permitting. We also hold races on Sundays, including state races that bring in large crowds from across Wisconsin. We provide a safe, sanctioned place for kids to exercise, socialize and develop skills that will be useful throughout their lives. At Winnebagoland BMX, we are dedicated to our cause, but we need your help to keep us moving forward so that we can raise awareness of our track and what we can provide for the youth in our community.
