Hello everyone my name is Kiara Diaz, On July 5th, my grandmother went to the emergency room, she had a stroke, which was followed by check-ups and various tests. The doctor told us that the right side of the brain was totally damaged, which is why she was left paralyzed on the left side of the body and that if everything went well she could live, but with that little detail that she will only be able to move the right side. The next day she suffered a heart attack, the doctors once again did check-ups and were surprised that her entire brain was covered with blood. The doctors told us that the brain is very inflamed that they had to remove all the blood and remove the skull on the right side so that the left side would not be affected. It was a very difficult time for the whole family, they did this surgery, they removed her skull and frozen it for the day the inflammation subsides and the brain can return to its normal size and put her skull back. The surgery was a success, my grandmother came out of the operation well, but she did not evolve as the doctors would have wanted. Days passed and the medications no longer had a 100% effect, only 20% had an effect. My grandmother was there in bed unable to open her eyes, unable to breathe (she was only breathing connected to an artificial machine). Again the doctors wanted to talk to us. The Doctor told us that they had taken a tomography and that unfortunately the other part of the healthy brain was also injured. That we had to make a decision on my grandmother's case, that it would be best to let her rest. And that is why it is the foundation so that they can help my Family to say goodbye to my grandmother, with a funeral and cremation.
