We are Footprints & Pages, an organization dedicated to making the world a better place through one shoe and one book at a time. Currently, our main target is to raise money that we can use to provide necessities to poverty-stricken children and youth around the world. We want to empower children and youth who have a talent for sport or those who have a curiosity for learning, by providing them with two of the basic necessities, footwear, and education By donating to our LFEBridge, you will be partaking in our effort, and helping us to achieve our ultimate goal of making the world more suitable and equal for everyone. Every penny counts! Though it's the 21st century and much progress has been made around the world, there are still some villages that still face the same struggles every day. These village problems are often ignored since it hurts the image of a country's progress. However, Footprints & Pages wants to shed light on these problems and provide solutions to them. Obviously one of these problems is access to proper footwear. Sneakers and boots are probably something that you wear every day whether it is to go to school, play sports, work, or even grocery shopping. Shoes make these tasks so much easier to complete. For example, lots of people farm in villages and for some, it's their only source of income. As mentioned before, footwear and protection are crucial in farming and some cannot afford shoes. Not only farming, going to school or work shoes are always necessary. You might think that most children are enrolled in school. Let's talk about one country first, India. According to data, only about 50% of children are enrolled in school because either it's too expensive or the distance is too far. Imagine how much higher the number of children would be if we looked at all of the underprivileged villages around the world. We want to change this, but we cannot do it alone. One pair of shoes and one book donated is going to change one person's life in a way you can not imagine. Footprints & Pages doesn't have to make headlines to help change the world. Everything we do in communities and beyond is impart good is important and matter. From soles to stories we want to make even a small difference in this society.
