Hello, My name is Matthew Knox and I am a Life Scout working on my Eagle Scout project. I have been involved in Scouting for the last 9 years. I chose this project because my family and I have 3 rescue dogs, and I have noticed an increase in the amount of homeless people with dogs in my community. There are many organizations that have programs to help out the homeless people, but I would like to help provide a service for their animals. For my Eagle Scout project, I will put together care packages for the dogs of those who are homeless or less fortunate in my community. With each care package, I plan to include a small bag of dog food, collapsible bowl with a carabiner, rope toy, tennis ball, a roll of dog poop bags, a water bottle, a bag of treats, and a travel sized roll up dog bed. These will be put in a large waterproof zippered bag. I am working with Hands of Hope, a local non-profit, who provides services for those who are less fortunate, to disperse the care packages to those in need. I would greatly appreciate any and all contributions to my Eagle Scout project. My goal is to put together at least 25-30 care packages and your contribution will help purchase the supplies needed. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and please share if you feel it is a worthy cause. Thank you, Matthew Knox Life Scout
