Hello, I'm Esther Kim. On July 5th, I noticed that my 7-year-old Doberman, Prince, had abnormally swollen lymph nodes. During our vet visit, they gave me the devastating news that Prince was diagnosed with Stage 4 lymphoma (cancer). Back in 2024, I was also diagnosed with lymphoma, but am currently in remission and hoping for the same outcome for Prince. If you haven't met Prince before, he's a sweet and affectionate boy. Quite the opposite of what people typically paint Dobermans as, he's a velcro dog that just craves an infinite amount of pets. I've raised my boy since he was 4 months old, and I don't plan to lose him without putting up a fight. I took Prince to a cancer specialist, and they quoted me around $16,000 for his 5-month long (CHOP) chemo treatment. So far, I've already paid around $3,500 for his diagnosis and the first round of chemo. Unfortunately, I have been unemployed for an extended amount of time, and Prince's medical condition is not only devastating for me financially but more so emotionally. I will continue to update this page with weekly news of his treatment, condition, and his brave battle against cancer. I understand times are tough for everyone, but I would genuinely appreciate any shares or anything you can do to help save my best friend and baby boy! ♡ Thank you for your kind support.
