Hello Kind-hearted supporters, My name is Wyatt Mullins and I play baseball for Nampa Babe Ruth 9U All-Star National Team, a group of passionate young athletes with big dreams and even bigger potential. My team and I have been playing in baseball tournaments all summer long around the treasure valley and just this last weekend we won the 2024 Cal Ripken 9U State title and were crowned Idaho State Champions! It was a great honor to represent Nampa Babe Ruth League and our community. Along with winning the title, we gained a bid to the Pacific Northwest Regional Tournament in Eugene, OR. We will play teams from all over the Pacific Northwest, including teams from Oregon, Washington, Montana, Utah, etc. The tournament begins on Wednesday, July 19th, and will go through Saturday, July 22nd. Today, I come to you with a humble request for your support to make my journey to an upcoming baseball tournament possible. This will help cover lodging, fuel, meals, tournament fees, etc. It's such an exciting time for our team, and we are excited to represent not only the Nampa Babe Ruth League but also the state of Idaho! My team and I have been diligently practicing day in and day out, refining our skills, and fostering a strong sense of camaraderie. This tournament is an incredible opportunity for us to showcase our talent, learn from other teams, and create unforgettable memories. Participating in this tournament will not only provide us with valuable learning experiences on the field but also foster personal growth off the field. We will learn the importance of teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. These lessons will stay with us throughout our lives, helping shape us into well-rounded individuals who can tackle any challenge that comes our way.
