Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read our story. As you know, Luna is my beautiful 11 year-old English Bulldog who loves her ball and her best friend, her mom. She has required alot of medical attention over the years, including a TECA surgery a few years ago - and since then monthly maintence of 2 minimum vet visits a month to preserve the remaining ear, among countless other procedures, medications, and prevention. In the last 35 days alone, her vet bills have added up to $1,674.16. Those last 3 vet bills are attached below: Fortunately, Luna is doing well, but still needs constant ongoing care - which is costly. She requires multiple vet visits a month, and several medications, several times a day. She is currently recovering from a hematoma removal surgery on her reamaining ear, and still in a cone. (Photo below is post-op last week) All of these costs have taken a toll on Luna’s mom’s financial stability. She is in need of immediate help so that they can stay in their home. We are humbly asking for any help possible. We currently have a mountain of bills. And not nearly enough to survive. Mom is working really hard to find another job, as well as services that she maybe eligible for from the state. But currently we only have a small business for income, which has been very, very slow this last year. We are truly in need of help with basic living expenses, so Mom can keep Luna at home and give her the best care possible for the remaining time she’s here with us. My biggest fear is having to re-home Luna, but I am afraid if we don’t receive some sort of assistance - I will have to find Luna an adoptive family or rescue. Luna has been my best friend since she was 8 weeks old, and she turned 11 years old last month. We unfortunately have no support system or family to ask for help. This is heartbreaking, but I am reaching out however I can to ask for help. If you can help in anyway, it would mean so much. We are grateful, but also desperate at this time. Everyone has a hardship in their life at some time another, and right now we are experiencing just that. Your kindness and generosity, or even positive thoughts, are greatly appreciated.
