Dear friends and colleagues, Tigers Eye is thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of our talented athletes at the 2024 Karate National Tournament in Laval. We take great pride in the fact that Tigers Eye Karate earned one of the highest number of medals among all the BC Dojos. Not only did our athletes showcase their exceptional skills, remarkable determination, and sportsmanship, their hard work and perseverance paid off, as they achieved remarkable success across various divisions and categories. We are incredibly proud to announce that they have secured their spot among the best karate athletes in our nation. In recognition of their outstanding performances Kiana, Haumi, Talya, Coco, Niayesh, Zack, Isaac, Daniel and Aiden have an opportunity to compete for the upcoming events, namely the Pan American Karate Championship in Santiago, Chile and/or Karate 1-Youth League in Merida, Mexico. Fernando has been selected to represent Canada at the senior World Championships in Budapest this upcoming October. In preparation he plans to compete at the upcoming Ireland Premier League. This remarkable opportunity not only highlights the skill and dedication of our karate athletes but also serves as a testament to their commitment to excellence. We are confident that all of athletes will represent our country and Tigers Eye with great honor and will make us all very proud. Nevertheless, this incredible chance carries financial considerations and implication. None of the costs associated with any of these competitions are financially covered in any way. Athletes/families must pay for everything. In light of this, we aim to gather a total of $20,000 to support our athletes in seizing this wonderful opportunity. We kindly invite our community, friends, and supporters to join us in supporting these talented athletes on their journey to the Pan Am Championships and World Championships. By contributing to our fundraising efforts, you can help cover travel expenses, accommodation, training costs, and other necessary expenses to ensure our athletes can fully focus on their performance. With each generous donation of $100, Tigers Eye Karate is pleased to offer a semi-private class led by Sensei Hamid, Sensei Hana, Sensei Fernando, or Sensei Kiana. You can choose from a variety of options, including fitness classes, self-defence training, personal training, or karate sessions.
